Confidentiality

Is this a private, secure and confidential service?

Yes. The data that you send over the web is encrypted on the server, so none of the information you input into the system can be accessed. The only way that someone other than yourself may see any of your search results is if you log into the system, then fail to log out before the next user sits down at the computer.

Why would I need a password and how can I sign-up?

Some of the providers listed in the database receive communications from site visitors through the web. To participate in this type of communication, you would need to obtain a password.

On Step 5 of your search, you will be presented with the option, 'Save to My Resource List' to create a history of your search results. Clicking on that linked text will take you to a sign-in area to create a user account.

Additionally, you'll have the ability to rate service providers through the website if you have a password.

Be sure to log out of the system when you are finished to ensure your privacy.

How can I suggest an organization for inclusion?

Accurate information is what makes this database a true resource. Suggesting new organizations for inclusion is encouraged. First, read the 'Criteria for Provider Inclusion' to make sure the organization you are suggesting meets the guidelines that have been established. Next, contact us with your suggestion and we will contact either you (if you are the provider) or the provider directly to obtain additional information.
